I know all of you moms out there know what I am talking about when I say "Baby" and "Blow Out" in the same sentence. Just a little funny story....the other day I was getting ready to get some lunch for myself because I was STARVING....so I thought..."Well I'll hurry and feed the baby first (which usually takes about 30 mins) and then I will get me some lunch." As I started to feed him we were about 15 mins into it, when lets just say the roof could have blown off! Here I'm thinking "wow that tops them all." So I am getting ready to finish feeding him for the last 15 min when I turn him around and notice poop soaked clear through his onesie, jammies, onto my pants. "What do I do now???" Finish feeding him or head for the tub and finish feeding later??? By now he is crying and not liking the warm feeling of poop up his back, so I headed to the tub. Might I mention...taking off clothes that have had a "blow out"...just makes the "blow out" even worse. By the time I had got everything off, we had poop head to toe...(maybe I'm just the new mother that doesn't know exactly yet how to take off "blow out" clothes). I get him all wiped down and most of the poop off (I thought anyways) when I decided to wrap him up and finish feeding him, then bath him when he was done. So back to the feeding we go, when I realize as he is eating, he had poop on his one hand..."Now I'm thinking GREAT..." As I watch his hand like a hawk so he doesn't touch it to his mouth or anything I get done feeding him and head to the tub. FINALLY....I get him all cleaned up and dressed!!! Needless to say... the hurried 30 min feeding turned into a 2 hour long process. LUNCH ANYONE??? So much for eating myself...by then the hunger pains were long since and gone. I just had to laugh to myself and say..."The Joys of being a Mother" I wouldn't trade it for anything!!!
"How can ya not just love this face:)"

LOL.....that is a great story Kate. As mother's we can ALL RELATE!! I wish I could say I have mastered taking off "BLOW OUT" clothes after 3 kids, but I still hate it and it's not easy. Cute little Braxon....I love the pictures. I gotta see him again...SOON!!
Love ya,
Miss
Yikes! That sounds rough! I can honestly say Cameron only had 1 or 2 blow outs. One of which was on the plane coming to Utah. Lovely.
He is so cute!! We HAVE to get together when we come home during the holidays!!!
OH SUPER CUTE KATY! I'M SORRY FOR THE BLOW OUT. I REMEMBER WATCHING MY BOSS'S LITTLE NEWBORN FOR HIS FIRST YEAR AND THOSE FUN TIMES SUCH AS THAT. YOU ARE A GREAT MOM AND I'M VERY HAPPY FOR YOU TWO.
Welcome to motherhood! fyi in case you don't have any. Always have extra onsies...the way poopie ones in public are worth throwing away. And for home have a naptha bar (found in the cleaning section of most grocery stores) look like a big bar of soap...gets out the poop from favorite clothes and onsies.
All I know is that you brought home the right baby. I can see BOTH you and Devin in him. There is no doubt he is your boy!
