A little about Braxon...

Braxon will be 18 months here in about a week. He is growing up so fast and has quite the personality. We love him so much and at times just sit and laugh at the things he does. He keeps up entertained and definitely keeps us going.

We got him a big boy bed...he loves to play on it...we haven't quite yet made the move to his new room, from the crib to the big bed...hopefully we can accomplish that before the baby comes!

I'm still in the process of getting it decorated...more to come!

He loves to get in the fridge and get a drink...he would stand there all day if we let him.

The other day I had the best helper making cookies.

He loved to stir the dough with a spoon....along with flipping it out of the bowl....and eating probably more than he should have :)

We had a great time together.

I love the small little moments I get with Braxon. We have a lot of fun. Even though life can get crazy busy, and I get caught up in the rush of everything...I have to sit back and realize, these moments are what really matter.

Sledding...

Braxon had a blast going sledding this year. Each time he would get to the bottom of the hill we would ask him if he wanted to go again and he would say "pees (please)". We love having a hill in our backyard to go sledding. We were glad we got enough snow this year to have some fun sledding days!

3+1=4

I have been so far behind on posts that I am just barely getting to this NEWS and most of you already know....but for those of you who don't....YES there is going to be another precious addition to our family....and its a.....BOY!!! We are so excited, and can't WAIT! I am so glad it's a boy since how he and Braxon will only be 20 months apart. As of right now I am 28 weeks or 6 months. His actual due date is June 4, 2011 but at my targeted ultrasound he is measuring to be due May 31, 2011...so we'll see!

How we told our Families...

I made this shirt for Braxon to wear when we went out to my parents in Park Valley. It was a weekend when everyone came out and the one night we put it on him and waited to see who noticed first. Some of the reactions were priceless. It was a lot of fun. Everyone was so excited and so surprised at the same time.

We did something a little different with Devin's family. It happened to be around Halloween time and we did a murder mystery dinner with his family and I happened to get the Pastry Chef role...so I couldn't pass this opportunity up to make it fun and tell them this way. As you see in the picture I put "bun in the oven". I must say a few were confused and asked "is that really true??" They weren't sure if it was just my costume or if I was trying to make a statement. It was really fun. They were all way excited also!

We are so excited to be adding to our little family. Time is closing in and it won't be long before we get to meet this little man. I must say my emotions go from way excited to a little nervous and worried at the same time right now. I feel great so I can't complain about that. I must say, I was a little sicker with this pregnancy in the beginning than I was with Braxon, so we were all betting I was having a girl....but it is definitely a BOY!
