Dinosaur Park + Rainbow Gardens + The Parkway = LOTS OF FUN
For Memorial Day we decided to have a day of fun with just our little family. Devin surprised Braxon and I with a fun time starting at my favorite place to eat...Cafe Rio for lunch and then up Ogden Canyon going for a 4 miles walk on the parkway, checking out the Dinosaurs at Dinosaur Park and going through the fun gift shops at Rainbow Gardens. If you have never been there, I definitely would recommend it. I seriously felt like I was on a vacation outside of Utah and I was only like 20 min from my house.
Heading out for the adventure.... 
A few of the dinosaurs we saw as we walked the parkway...we didn't actually go right in the park...we thought we would go inside when Braxon is a little older and can enjoy it more.
He loved all the flowers, as I came toward him with the dandelion he opened his mouth thinking it was a lollipop or something he could eat...he soon realized it wasn't a treat!
Stopping along the way to keep hydrated was a must!

After the long walk and taking in all the scenes, he was pretty tuckered out!
He did wake back up to shop at the gift shops and get a treat.....
....or was that Dad who wanted the treat, either way he wasn't about to let go of the candy!We had such a great time...it was a much needed time out as a family...hope everyone else had a great Memorial Day!
